We went to Kettle's yard. It was very interesting, and we were shown and told about all the various paintings and pieces of art that were in there. Also the layout of the pieces wasn't just random. They were place in a specific way and in groups and they were related to each other. I took various different shots of various different pieces of art. Many of which were rather successful considering that I wasn't ready for taking pictures and only had my phone on me which has a rather poor quality
but I still managed to take some decently looking pictures.
We were able to walk around the house exploring the exhibits. We've been told what the rules are and what we can and can not do. We were unable to use flash when we were taking pictures as it slowly decreases the life length of the paintings and permanently damaged them. And we were able to sit on any of the chairs within the house. The house was and has been kept they way Jim and Helen left it. And it has been that way ever since.
The things that were rather interesting, were that the things that were in the house were arranged in specific ways which were rather interesting. People were wondering if certain things were and could be considered as art. This was the main negative feedback that people were giving.
The question that faced us in the end, was that if the certain pieces of 'art' that we saw in the gallery were art at all. For example there was a full can of god knows what, and more importantly how old it was.. in the middle of a white woody square. But in order to be professional we examined all the pieces of art carefully so we could come an accurate conclusion.
